Exciting Update: Center of Attention Poetry Anthology

Greetings! I am pleased to announce that two of my poems, which have not previously been published in any other format, are being released in the new poetry anthology from local Stockton publisher, Tuleburg Press. The anthology is called Center of Attention: Poems on Stockton & San Joaquin, and can be ordered here: https://tuleburgpress.com/books/. The launch/reception for this anthology took place this past Friday, September 8th at the Mexican Heritage Center & Gallery in Downtown Stockton.

The publisher had issued a call-out for poems about life in Stockton/San Joaquin County, and chose to include many interesting works by over 50 local poets. My works in the anthology are titled “$15.50” and “People Don’t Want to Work;” they offer observations about the local economy and labor market. I will likely add these poems to my page in time, but for now, they will be exclusively featured in the anthology. This is exciting because it is the first time I have submitted any of my poems to another party for publishing.

If you are curious about the lives, dreams, struggles, and experiences of Stockton/San Joaquin poets, then I suggest purchasing a copy of the anthology, which supports local arts!
